Editor features

The SimpleMDE editor has the following features enabled in the Piranha manager:

• Bold
• Italic
• Headings
• Quotes
• Lists
• Links
• Images
• Full-screen editing

Besides the built in features Piranha will add the following:

• Image integration with the media library
• Link integration with internal pages & posts.

Status

The new markdown editor will be available in the first alpha release for 4.3. For those who can't wait you can try it out by getting the source code from GitHub.
